The Death of Art is a essay written by Clyde Smith in 2005. The essay discussed Smith’s views and disapproval of the current state of art, society, media, and technology. Due to success of the essay, an exhibition comprised of “Avant-Garde” artists and works was assembled. The exhibition is a nonprofit touring art exhibit to help spread the message of Smith’s essay.
